Introduction
When to visit Kédougou, a destination at understand before you leave?
Kédougou is not an ordinary destination. Nestled in the extreme southeast of Senegal, at the borders of Guinea and Mali, this territory is one of the last preserved natural spaces in West Africa. Bédik villages perched UNESCO, Dindéfelo waterfall, wild Gambia River, Basque Country — Kédougou offers an authentic immersion that few destinations can match.
But to take full advantage of it, the time of the trip counts enormously. Kédougou has two faces depending on the season: a golden and arid face in dry season, a green face and exuberant in rainy season. Both are beautiful. Both have their constraints. This guide helps you choose.
